has been doing well at the box office, is set to collaborate with the filmmaker yet again. Interestingly, their next film will pick up where the last one left off as the duo has announced a sequel to Shivalinga. At a recent media interaction in Mysuru, Vasu said, 'The idea of having a sequel came up when we were shooting for the climax abroad. In the last scene, Shivarajkumar, who played an investigating officer, is seen throwing his mobile phone into water, after receiving a call from his superior officers to solve another murder mystery. When I narrated a few scenes for a possible sequel,

gave his nod immediately. To be called Shivalinga Part 2, the film will have almost the same cast as the original.'
