Suman Ranganath will reprise her role in the Tamil remake of Kavaludaari

Kannada actress Suman Ranganath will be reprising her role in the upcoming Tamil remake of the Kannada film Kavaludaari. The role, which had actress Pooja as the original choice, needed Suman to fill in as Pooja had a personal emergency. Suman, who predominantly works in Kannada Film Industry, made her Tamil Industry debut with the film Pudhu Paattu, where she starred alongside actor Ramarajan, and she was last seen in the film Arrambam.
The Tamil remake also stars actors Nandita Swetha, Nasser, and Jayaprakash and it is in the final stages of production with only 20 days of shooting left. Produced by Lalitha Dhananjayan for Creative Entertainers and Distributors, the film is directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy of Sathya fame.
