Suvarna Plus launched

Can’t get enough of your favourite Kannada film stars in the theatres? Suvarna Plus, which was launched yesterday, is now the latest Kannada entertainment TV channel. This is the second entertainment channel in Kannada for the Star Network. The tagline for Suvarna Plus is Masthi Swalpa Jaasti.
Four superhit films – Sudeep’s Veera Madakari, Darshan’s Shourya, the Ganesh-starrer Chellata and another Sudeep flick, Tirupati -- were telecast on the first day that the channel aired.Sources say that Puneeth's popular quiz show Kannadada Kotyadhipati will be shifted to Suvarna Plus in the afternoon slot. Other programmes in the lineup include Comedy-Comedy, Namma Family, Cinereels and Campus Connect.
