Teenage to release in June

Master Kishan Shrikanth’s upcoming teenage love story with Tanvi Lonkar, called Teenage is slated for a June release. The film, which has been ready for a while, was first delayed by the IPL season and subsequently the state elections. But with the latter over and the IPL nearing its end too, questions arose about when the film would release. Kishan took to his micro-blogging page to announce that his team was looking for a June 14 or June 21 release date for the film, which boasts a four-minute underwater song sequence that was shot using 5D cameras."yeah! Plans are happening. June 14th illa 21st," he had tweeted. While the makers of the film had attempted to get the song, choreographed by Murali, into the Limca Book of Records, it remains unclear if they managed the same.
Tanvi, incidentally, is best known for her portrayal of a teenaged Latika in Danny Boyle’s Oscar winning drama Slumdog Millionaire. Teenage will mark her Sandalwood debut.
