Television’s Rakshith turns Raksh for the big screen

Rakshith has been a popular name thanks to the prime time soap Puttagowri Maduve. He’s now gearing up for the big screen and has changed his name to Raksh. “There is already a Rakshit Shetty in the industry and Raksh has a warm ring to it,” says Raksh. He has signed a new film with Harikrishna, the director of 8MM, which is titled Red. This is a thriller that sees Raksh playing a hacker, while Sonu Gowda plays a military officer in the film. “We are having a muhurat on Friday, which is Vijayadashami. We have another female lead in the film, who is yet to be finalised. We have a strong technical team, which includes Judah Sandhy as composer,” says Raksh. The actor also has Nagendra Magadi’s Nargunda Bandaya in his kitty.
