‘The support the film industry has given us is overwhelming’

This week’s release Hostel Hudugaru Bekagiddare will see the likes of Rishab Shetty, Shine Shetty, Pawan Kumar, Diganth and Ramya play special roles in different capacities. Directed by debutante Nithin Krishnamurthy, the film stars newbie Prajwal BP, and is said to revolve around the events that unfurl in one night.
“Even though they are big stars, all of them agreed to act and lend their support to this film without any hesitation,” says Nithin.

“For newcomers like us, the support we have received from the industry people is overwhelming. We got the backing from the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar sir when we first launched our poster. Post that, it is overwhelming to see the industry encourage newcomers who are attempting to bring in a new perspective to the screen which is bound to lure many more youngsters to cinema. The exuberance and creativity of the younger audience is proving that only content matters,” says Prajwal.
