Something about the way it has been shot and the lyrics of the Dadda Dadda song from Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai has hit home with Kannada audiences. Proof of this is the fact that the song has got over five lakh organic hits just days after it was uploaded online.
Kannada director Rishab Shetty talks about the 'Dadda Dadda' song from his upcoming film, 'Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai'

Rishab Shetty couldn’t be happier, considering that he has a very personal connect with the character Praveena, on who the song is based.
“There is someone like
Praveena in every school — someone who keeps failing. I based Praveena’s character on my elder brother, whose name is also Praveena. My brother and I were both average students in school, but my brother was lesser than average. He used to keep failing and couldn’t wrap his head around what was in the school books. Praveena, in the film, is the same way, which I represented with the letters flying out of the black board in the song. Dadda Dadda is about how the character Praveena feels when others call him names like dadda (stupid) — he feels lonely and thinks that no one gives him any importance. His mind also works in a different way; time for him passes by very slowly. So, we used hyper-lapse, stop-motion, low shutter shots, low frames and rig shots to visually show his thought process,” says Rishab, adding that although the character is based on his brother, some changes have been made to suit the film.
