Veteran actress Leelavathi and son Vinod Raj distribute food kits to junior artistes

Veteran actress Leelavathi, who started her career as a junior artiste, is doing her bit for others like that who have lost their jobs because of the pandemic lockdown.
Urging those who can affortd to help to alleviate hunger among the needy, Leelavathi and her son, actor Vinod Raj, have been making donations from their farming earnings. Vinod, who spoke about his mother's early days in showbiz, said that she understands how difficult it is to make ends meet without a steady source of income.
Vinod has also been visiting villages to create awareness among villagers about the need to maintain social distance and hygiene to tackle COVID-19. Actors like Upendra, Harshika Poonacha and Bhuvann are distributing food kits and meals to junior artists as well as to needy people in Bengaluru.
