Veteran actress Leelavathi and son Vinod Raj donate groceries for junior artists

The country is under a lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak and daily wage workers and the poor are facing many difficulties in surviving without an income. Similarly, the daily workers within the Kannada film industry too are in the same boat and some actors have already come forward to help them. Joining their league, veteran actress Leelavathi and her son, actor Vinod Raj too have donated essential groceries for these workers and junior artists.
Leelavathi and Vinod Raj visited the Film Junior Artists Association in Summanahalli, Bangalore and distributed crops and groceries grown on their own farm. Leelavathi lives with her son in Soladevanahalli, Nelamangala on a big farm and so, they decided to donate all the vegetables and other items grown on the farm. They also personally delivered the goods to the association.
Vinod Raj, who is living in the village currently, has also sprayed disinfectants in the village. He is also creating awareness in the village by explaining the importance of being clean and hygienic. The villagers are appreciating Vinod’s work for the village.
