When Malayalam actress Anju Kurian named Yash as her celebrity crush

The "AMA" or "Ask Me Anything" idea has been quite the trend of late with several celebs across the country indulging in it. Several Sandalwood stars have dabbled in the activity already, and very recently, popular Malayalam actress Anju Kurian too decided on giving it a shot.Well, her answer to the "Your Celebrity Crush?" question will leave all the Sandalwood fans delighted!
In a series of simple yet fun questions, Anju Kurian was asked by a fan about her celebrity crush, and swiftly came the response from her end: ROCKY BHAI! Tagging Yash in her response with the blaring theme of 'K.G.F' playing in the background, the Malayalam actor set the internet on fire with many going on to share the news on social media soonafter.

Although Anju Kurian hasn't personally ventured into Kannada cinema yet, the "Rocky Bhai" mania seems to be prevalent all over the world. With the tremendous success of 'K.G.F: Chapter 1', Yash catapulted into becoming a national superstar and is currently one of the most sought-after actors along with the likes of Prabhas and others. The follow-up film 'Chapter 2' is being touted as the biggest film of the year with an estimated budget of Rs. 100 Cr. being invested in its making - the film will release in five different languages including Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Originally scheduled to release on the 16th of July, 2021, many reports now suggest that the makers are contemplating a Dasara release so as to not encounter the pandemic woes. More reports to follow.
