Will Jayammana Maga see the light of day?

Duniya Vijay's first home production, Jayammana Maga, has a more homely element than what meets the eye. Though the film has completed production, its future in terms of post-production and release is murky because of the actor's family problems. Like most stars who make their wives producers for their films, Vijay too made his wife Nagaranthna, the official producer of Jayammana Maga.Therefore, without the wife's green signal, the film can neither be released not be given to distributors or sold to television.
As per law, the 'author' and 'owner' of a feature film is the producer. So, if Vijay wants to see the film released, he has no option but to seek his wife's help. It is said that Nagarathna is willing to give up her rights for the sake of her husband. However, since the money invested belongs to Vijay, it makes his wife only a nominal producer. Due to these issues between the couple, actor Vijay is said to have walked out of his house to stay with his parents for a while. And, the problems for the actor only seem to be multiplying because he pressed charges against a television channel for interviewing his children during the crisis.
Meanwhile, K Manju's Rajani Kantha, starring Vijay in a double role has released today. Now, we'll only have to wait and watch to see if the actor's personal life will have any impact on the film's success at the BO.
