Will Katherine Tresa hit the big time?

Bangalore-based Katherine Tresa's first Telugu film, Iddirammayelitho, in which she stars opposite Allu Arjun released on Friday to good reviews. Katherine, in particular, has been singled out for praise. Now the question remains about whether the model-turned-actress will be able to follow up the success of this film with her next two projects: Chammak Challo and Paisa.
Katherine made her debut in the Duniya Vijay film Shankar IPS in 2010 in which she played a model. While her debut was noted, she wasn't able to bag many big Sandalwood films. She even acted in a few Malayalam films, but failed to make an impression in Mollywood.
It was then that she decided to make the move to Tollywood with Iddirammayelitho, which is directed by Puri Jagannadh. Both her upcoming films are under production. If the film continues its good streak, it may be the turning point in Katherine's career.
