Will Puneeth star in Thani Oruvan remake?

NS Rajkumar is apparently in talks with the team of the Tamil film Thani Oruvan for the remake rights of the film on behalf of Puneeth Rajkumar. Vajreshwari Kumar, as he is commonly called, said that Puneeth was interested in the film, but only if director Jayam Raja helms it. The plan was to have Puneeth work on the film between two of his other commitments, Rajakumara and James, but with Raja not available at that time, this may not work out.Ïf we don't make it now, the subject will become stale. Moreover, Thani Oruvan was not a hero's film, it was the villain's film, so that is also on our mind,"said Kumar, adding that he would decide in a few days whether to formalize the deal or not.
