Following the successful theatrical run, the makers of '
Bhajarangi 2
' have released the video version of the song
Nee Sigoovaregu from the film. Sung by
Sid Sriram and composed by Arjun Janya, the acoustic number brims with sweetness with the video featuring
Shiva Rajkumar, Bhavana, and their blooming romance. K. Kalyan has written the lyrics of the song.
Shot exquisitely with several slow-motion takes by cinematographer Swami J., the song's main charm lies in the on-screen chemistry between the leads Bhavana Menon and Shivanna with the latter, especially, shining with his spunk and energy.
Nee Sigoovaregu is Sid Sriram's second bonafide Kannada song as a playback singer after having made his debut with the Hayagide track from the film 'Tom and Jerry'. His third song from the film 'Love You Rachchu' was unveiled yesterday in the video format and has already garnered a lot of attention and praise from the digital audience.
'Bhajarangi 2' was released theatrically on the 29th of October after a considerable delay due to the pandemic. However, as fate would have it, Shiva Rajkumar younger brother and colleague
Puneeth Rajkumar would tragically succumb to a cardiac arrest on the very same day, casting a gloomy shadow on the entire country. While 'Bhajarangi 2' continued to play in theatres, the box office commerce was affected because of the incident but the film regained traction over the next few days to do good business, ultimately.
The makers have already released three other tracks from the film including the title song,
Re Re Bhajarangi (sung by
Kailash Kher), and
Vaidyo Narayano Hari by
Vijay Prakash. Arjun Janya has composed all the songs in the film.
