Singer SP Balasubramaiam, who was recently reported to be unwell, seemed to be a in full form at his recent concert in Bangalore. The singer, who performed at the National College Grounds, Basavanagudi, was lively and enthusiastic throughout the evening.
SPB enjoyed singing on stage so much that when he was between two songs, an audience member's mobile phone rang with the ringtone of the famous Tamil koothu song Nakku Mukka and SPB, without taking the slightest offence, did a little jig to the song.
The singer, who entertained his audiences with little anecdotes and jokes between songs, was cheered on by one and all at the venue.
Some of the songs rendered by SPB at the event include
Yaava Shilpi Kanda Kanasu, Oh Premi, Oh Butterfly and
Navajeeva Nagu. In addition to his renditions, Archana Udupa and a couple of other singers also rendered solo and group songs.
