Play readings at Jagriti this weekend

As part of the Jagriti New Writing Festival (NWF), Toto Funds the Arts (TFA) presents readings in various genres. This Saturday, theatre enthusiasts will get glimpses of four plays.
Theatre actors Basav Biradar, Raghavendra Acharya, Parvathi Raveendran and Ashwini Kumar Chakre will read extracts from the following plays by young playwrights:
* The Pad (English) by Saattvic
* Basava Express (Kannada) by Raghavendra Acharya
* Rocky ka Insaf (Hindi) by Ashwini Kumar Chakre
* The Witches (English) by Parvathi Raveendran
The readings are curated and anchored by theatre director, actor and playwright Abhishek Majumdar. The readings, which are free and open to all, will begin at 11 am on March 1 at Jagriti.
