If you are a movie buff then this screening by Ranga Shankara is for you. The Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival is all set to screen films, made by artists as a response to and during the lockdown today, as part of their On Screen at Ranga Shankara event. The screenings will take place at the Ranga Shankara Foyer at 5 pm today.
Here's a glimpse at the line-up of the films today:
Night surfing: Ever wondered what your stationery is getting up to during those long lockdown nights?
Dilli Kiski Hoti Hai: Who does Delhi belong to, finally? This interlude, this poem, this fragment of our work brings together a collaboration between an artist, a musician, and a poet. But much like this city, is this owned by any of us, or does this belong to the thousands who walked from Delhi to their homes?
Brain Surgeon...?: A young boy in his 20’s who works as a clerk in a hospital, meets a girl in a library during his lunchtime. What follows are some strange turn of events which reveal the internal conflicts, desires, and complexes of the boy in an unusual way.
Chuhal: It is the story of two individuals who are attracted to each other but clash because they have different views on relationships.
This year the Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival has gone online, with several of their events and plays being staged online.
