‘Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art’ is a proverb rightly said for this play, especially for an old age woman. In the story, Mangla Divecha is shuffling between the two houses of her sons after her husband’s death.
With all the shifting and shuffling every month, she still finds her happiness despite the daunting nature of the two daughter-in-laws.
Around the same time, some major events happen in her life.
A peek into the little tussles of
saas bahus in every home will be seen, but what really comes as a big surprise is the decision of the
saas when a problem arises and suddenly the tables turn around.
This one is a must play for every
saas-bahu-son, especially the message in the end which comes out strong for every person moving towards the sunset age for better living and happiness irrespective of circumstances.
Baa Tane Hun Kya Rakhu features veteran actress
Rohini Hattangadi.
The play is scheduled to take place on April 3 (2.30 pm and 6.30 pm) at Chowdiah Memorial Hall, 16th Cross, GD Park Extension, Malleswaram.
