The lives of four youths interwoven
Ranga Shankara, in association with Goethe Institut, Bangalore presents 'Maryade Prashne'.
Based on the German play Respect, by Lutz Huebner, the play deals with the concerns of youth and their unmindful rage.
4 youth, one jolly road trip and a tragic end! The four of them are entangled in the complex web of love, betrayal, rage and egos and what follows is shocking.

This roadie show is about four youths, from different economic and social backgrounds, on a jolly trip to Mysore, meet a tragic end. The play delves into reality theatre by traversing through the lives of 4 young, distinct individuals, each from a different socio-cultural background. The play questions society's stereotypes and other delicate issues like gender-politics and money-power.
As the name suggests, the 90-minute play makes different observations of the matter of honour which is central to each character.
The play is directed by Surendranath with Naveen, Shrunga, Ujwala, Varsha, and Sandeep in the cast Originally written by German playwright, Lutz Huebner,
The Kannada version is written and directed by S Surendranath.
