The Malayalam comedy-drama 'Hridayapoorvam', starring
Mohanlal, has been enjoying a decent run at the box office. The film opened on a strong note but was soon outmuscled by multiple new releases, leading to a modest performance. On day 20, the film collected over Rs 37 lakhs.
According to Sacnilk, the movie earned more than Rs 20 crore in its first week and Rs 13.04 crore in its second week since its release on August 28. It went on to collect Rs 38 lakhs on Monday and Rs 37 lakhs on Tuesday, taking its total box office collection to Rs 37.40 crore.

The movie had an overall 12.32% Malayalam occupancy on Tuesday. It had the lowest occupancy in the morning at 6.36% and later increased gradually throughout the day to 11.10% in the afternoon shows. It later increased to 13.37% in the evening and concluded the day with 18.43% at the night shows.
