On the eighth day of its release, "Kannur Squad" amassed an impressive Rs 5 crore worldwide, setting the stage for an anticipated entry into the Rs 60 crore club by the end of the second week, with the weekend's collections yet to be counted. The movie has resonated with both family and younger audiences, as well as Mammootty's devoted fan base.
In addition to its success in India, "Kannur Squad" has garnered significant attention in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) box office, with a superb second Friday performance, boasting tracked admissions above 16,000 and a gross of 1.35 crores. Actual admissions are estimated to be even higher.
