Sathya's director Diphan passed away before the film was out

Actor Jayaram's latest film 'Sathya' is just out and the movie features the actor in a never-seen-before salt-n-pepper look.
The movie is directed by Diphan, who became a household name in the industry after the Prithviraj movie 'Puthiya Mugham.' Much before the film hit screens, however, Diphan passed away at the young age of 47. He was apparently suffering from kidney related ailments, and is survived by his wife and two children.
He has previously directed movies like 'The Dolphins,' 'Gangs of Vadakkumnathan' and 'Hero.'
