‘Aadu 2’ OTT release: When and where to watch the Jayasurya starrer

Midhun Manuel Thomas’ directorial Aadu franchise has a fandom on its own. The Jayasurya starrer slapstick comedy won the hearts of the audience for all the right reason. The sequin ‘Aadu 2’ is now streaming on YouTube. The sequel, which was released in 2017 was not available on any OTT platforms yet. ‘Aadu 2’ is streaming in HD on Friday Film House’s YouTube channel.

Jayasurya announced the digital release through his social media handle, “Much awaited Aadu 2 Premiering on YouTube.”

The makers announced the digital release and said, “Now you can watch your favourite movie 'Aadu 2' through Friday Film House YouTube Channel in HD.”

‘Aadu 2’ is a sequel to the 2015 fim ‘Aadu’. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film is an adaptation of of Guy Richie’s film ‘Snatch’. Instead of the dog and diamond, the makers of the Malayalam movie chose the goat and Neela Koduveli. Jayasurya is playing the lead role, while actors Dharmajan Bolgatty, Saiju Kurup, Sunny Wayne, Vineeth Mohan, Bhagath Manuel, Vijay Babu, and Vinayakan in important roles.

Meanwhile, the prequel ‘Aadu’ is available to watch on Disney+Hotstar.


On the other hand, Jayasurya is currently working on ‘Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer’. The upcoming film is a fantasy thriller, helmed by Rojin Thomas, who has previously directed the award winning ‘Home’.
