Aashiq Abu and team to part ways?

Aashiq Abu, Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Nair and Abhilash Kumar — the team behind hit movies like Salt N’ Pepper, 22 Female Kottayam and Da Thadiya — is currently busy with yet another much anticipated project, Idukki Gold. However, buzz is that, after Idukki Gold, the team will part ways to focus on individual projects. “The team members have a handful of projects in their kitty, which would take a considerable amount of their time.So, they are planning to work on their individual projects after the shoot of Idukki Gold,” says an industry insider.
However, scriptwriter Shyam Pushkaran refuted the rumour and said that the team will continue to work in the future as well. “It is not necessary to work with the same team all the time,” he says, adding, “We are in talks with other directors also. But next year, Dileesh and I will work with Aashiq for his next movie with Mohanlal. Aashiq’s Gangster, is being written by Abhilash Kumar along with Ahmed Sidhique. So there is no question of us parting ways.”
