Aby gets a go-ahead, no issues with Vimanam

Upcoming film Aby starring Vineeth Sreenivasan has received a clean chit from the court. The team of Prithviraj starrer

Vimanam

has a similiar theme, that of a young man who builds an aircraft and aspires to fly, and had filed a case against the team of Aby.

Initially, Aby's script was supposed to be just about a young man's love for flying but later, on hearing about a real-life person Saji Thomas, a deaf-mute who wishes to fly, the writer,

, added bits from his life into the script. In the meantime, a certain Pradeep M Nair bought the rights of a film with

Saji Thomas

's real life story and the two stories clashed.
As of now, Aby will go on floors first.
