Aishwarya Lekshmi begins ‘Archana 31 Not Out’ shoot

After completing her schedule for ‘Kaanekkane’, Mollywood diva Aishwarya Lekshmi has begun filming for her forthcoming film ‘Archana 31 Not Out’. ‘Archana 31 Not Out’ will feature Aishwarya as the protagonist and the team has commenced the shoot in Palakkad on Sunday. Aishwarya was also present at the puja function and the actress was seen decked up in a saree as an ordinary woman.Aishwarya plays the titular Archana, who is a primary school teacher and has gone through 31 wedding proposals, but not a single one fell into place. The actress is very keen about the project, as she will be handling humor in the film.

‘Archana 31 Not Out’ is helmed by debutant director Akhil Anilkumar. The film is produced by popular filmmaker Martin Prakkat. Speaking to us earlier, the director has shared that the film is a comedy genre that revolves around a wedding. Archana, a primary school teacher has gone through 31 ‘pennu kanal’ meetings to find a perfect groom. The film will be exploring the life of Archana.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Lekshmi has a bunch of interesting projects in her kitty. ‘Kaanekkane’, directed by Manu Ashokan is one of her anticipated films. She will be seen sharing the screen with her ‘Mayanadhi’ co-star Tovino Thomas in ‘Kaanekkane’ and also it has an interesting technical crew. Aishwarya has also signed for 'Kumari', a film helmed by 'Ranam' director Nirmal Sahadev. ‘Kumari’ is a fantasy thriller based on folklore. The young actress has also shot her part for Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
