‘Anchakkallakokkan’ box office collections day 16: Chemban Vinod starrer collects Rs 2 lakhs

With the release of the most awaited Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer ‘Aadujeevitham’, it seems that the collections for the action drama film ‘Anchakkallakokkan’ have been affected drastically as it has only managed to rake in Rs 2 lakhs on day 16.According to the Sacnilk website, the Chemban Vinod Jose starrer ‘Anchakkallakokkan’ has only collected Rs 2 lakhs on day 16, and the total Indian collections for the movie stand at Rs 2.6 crores—the worldwide collections for ‘Anchakkallakokkan’ amount to Rs 2.49 lakhs.Directed by Ullas Chemban, this Western-style crime drama movie is scripted by Vikil Venu and the movie hit the big screens on March 15. Even though the action flick carried less hype and anticipation among the audiences due to the lack of star casts, ‘Anchakkallakokkan’ received terrific reviews from the audiences after the initial release.Audiences called it a unique cinematic experience with stunning action sequences and mesmerizing performances. The movie’s plot is set in the year 1986 and the story revolves around the murder of a landlord and the quest by police officers led by Nadavaramban to find the killer.
