Anjali Menon expresses interest to direct Mammootty and Mohanlal

Ace director Anjali Menon has expressed her interest to direct a movie with Mammootty or Mohanlal in the lead. Anjali reportedly said that she is happy to direct a movie with Mammootty or Mohanlal in lead role if a suitable script comes up.
The director also said both Mammootty and Mohanlal became superstars after proving as great actors. She said it will be a great responsibility to do a movie with the great actors and added that both of them can still provide a lot as artists.She said Mammootty did ‘Ponthanmada’ and ‘Vidheyan’ in the same year, while Mohanlal does both commercial and art house movies with ease, which makes these actors special.
Talking about WCC, Anjali said the collective is formed to raise voice for the basic necessities needed for women in the cinema industry. She also said she is not interested to be contained inside the label of a 'woman filmmaker'.
