Anoop Menon turns director

Actor Anoop Menon, who has scripted several films and also written lyrics, is turning his focus to direction with ‘King Fish’.
In his social media post, the actor said that he never expected to turn a director this soon. “Everyone with whom I have worked has been a teacher to me and this is my humble tribute to my audience,” he said. The film was supposed to be directed by VK Prakash, but as he was unable to do it owing to date hassles, Anoop Menon is taking over the mantle.
The poster for the film, which has the slogan “Country roads… take me home”, shows a panoramic image of a long, slowly winding road with autumnal trees.
