Arun Gopy has come up with a
Facebook post indirectly criticizing state government on the backdrop of recent sexual violations alleged against CPI(M) MLA P K Sasi and
Jalandhar
Bishop--who is charged for a rape case.
"Now nobody wants to stand with 'her' and there is no #withher campaign. The police and government who showed the enthusiasm to arrest a person on the basis of a criminal's statement looks to be on a silent mode now. How beautiful! Forever with the prey!" wrote Arun Gopy in his official Facebook page. The director with his post clearly targets WCC indirectly as the women's collective started the #withher campaign following the assault on a Mollywood actress.

It was Arun Gopy who showed confidence in going forward with his debut movie 'Ramaleela' which had Dileep in the lead role at a time when the actor was arrested in connection with actress assault case.
