The cyber police have registered a case against an actress from Aluva following a complaint lodged by veteran actor and director
Balachandra Menon. The situation has escalated as both parties have raised serious accusations against each other.
According to Asianet News, the case pertains to allegations that the actress defamed and blackmailed Balachandra Menon on social media platforms.

According to the reports, the actress had first approached the special investigation team in connection with a complaint that she lodged against Balachandra Menon on charges of alleged sexual misconduct.
According to the statement, it was during the shooting of a film in 2007 that the alleged incidence occurred. In retaliation to that, Balachandra Menon has now filed a counter-complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Chief Minister, asserting that the actress had publicly defamed him through posts she had posted on social media.
Now, the case has been filed by the Cyber Police due to the complaint, and further investigations are underway. Actress also made an enigmatic social media post featuring a photo of Balachandra Menon, captioned 'coming soon', which apparently pointed at some ensuing revelations related to the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
Meanwhile the actress has been involved in similar controversies in the past, having previously raised sexual misconduct allegations against multiple individuals in the film industry, including prominent actors like Mukesh, Jayasurya, and Edavela Babu. The actress claimed that she was also harassed by a caller identifying himself as Advocate Sandeep, who allegedly warned her about multiple cases of sexual harassment being filed against her.
