Awesome co-starsManju will be sharing screen space with superstar Mammootty for the first time in their careers.
The classy poster for debutant director Jofin T Chacko’s The Priest shows Mammootty in the garb of a capuchin priest and has all the mystery feel that the movie promises to be.
The actress is also playing an important role in Nivin Pauly-starrer Padavettu, directed by Liju Krishna.
Exciting subjectsManju Warrier plays Subaida in this Priyadarsan-Mohanlal magnum opus about 16th century naval hero Kunhali Marakkar. With a stellar cast that includes Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, and Keerthy Suresh, this was set to be a one of the huge releases of early 2020 and one of the biggest films in Malayalam, but got put off because of the pandemic.
Jack and Jill, a thriller helmed by Santosh Sivan, also sounds exciting with Manju playing a woman who is being experimented on.
Manju looks like she will cover all genres, having excelled in drama, comedy and thriller, with upcoming horror flick Chathur Mukam with co-star Sunny Wayne and directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil Menon.
Interesting directorsAlso produced by Manju, Kayattam filmed in the extreme snowy peaks of Himachal is about a trek. Made by experimental filmmaker Sanalkumar Sasidharan, the film has Manju singing in a language made up for the movie.
Manju is being directed by her brother Madhu Wariar, who is debuting as a director with Lalitham Sundaram, a feel-good film with Biju Menon as her co-star.
