Ever since the

outbreak

of the coronavirus and the following

lockdown

, the need for entertainment has surged and content creators around the world are putting more effort into it. Playback

singer Jyotsna Radhakrishnan

has now shared her views on how

content creation

has become almost a rat race. “It's disheartening to see the rat race that content creation has become,”

Jyotsna Radhakrishnan

said in her Instagram post. She shared a note that reads, “Dear artists, It's ok if you are not churning out content like hotcakes. It's ok if you cannot keep up with the truckloads of content that is spawn all over the internet. What is important is that you are sane by the mind. Work at your own pace. Make content that resonates with you. Most importantly, pls don't be pressured to put out content. If you give in to it, you will just end up giving out the mediocre fare. So take your time. Creativity isn't 2 min noodle.”

She also shared that she has seen her fellow artists, who have been consistent in creating content, but there are also a few others, who have drowned themselves in the fear of being irrelevant.

“It's disheartening to see the rat race that content creation has become. My dear fellow artists, if you have the capacity to create consistently, more power to you! But I speak for the many who are weighed down with anxiety and the fear of becoming irrelevant if they don't. No. Don't give in to that. Take your time. Creativity in its full glory, happens with patience and time. You got this. Don't give into pressure. Breathe.
Felt strongly about this one. Hence the share. Good day y'all!” she concluded.
