Mollywood has another new entrant, Swarna Thomas, the winner of a children’s dance reality show in 2011
Swarna has also bagged two Tamil films — Vetri Selvanand Yeh Ind Mayakkam. “In all these films, I have entirely different roles and I feel lucky,” she says. Born to a Marathi mother and a Malayali father, Swarna didn’t know a word of Malayalam when she landed in Kerala from Mumbai to participate in the dance reality show. “But now everyone says I have picked up the language well,” says Swarna.
