Dileep gets bail, finally!

After 85 days in jail and multiple attempts at bail, actor Dileep, accused in the actress assault case, gets bail.
It is the Kerala High Court which has granted him bail, albeit under strict conditions. The actor has to present two bail witnesses, and also submit Rs 2 lakhs as bond. He has to surrender his passport as well.

The court is reported to have said that there is nothing new to be submitted in the case diary, no new accused or proof. However, the mobile phone with which the actress' visuals were filmed, is yet to be recovered. He was denied bail earlier on the premise that he would try to influence witnesses. This time, he has been asked not to try to do it.

The actress was assaulted on February 17 this year, and Dileep was arrested on July 10, following reports that he was the one who masterminded the crime, and Pulsar Suni, the first accused, only executed it.
