Dileep in and as ‘Apoorva GV’

Regardless of how his movies fare at the box office, Dileep’s comic expressions and one liners have always had takers in M’wood.
The actor, who is currently basking in the success of his latest release Chandrettan Evideya, will work next in filmmaker Biju Arukutti’s second project. TitledApoorva GV, the movie’s producer and actor Arun Ghosh says it’s a dialogue-oriented fun thriller.
“GV aka George Vadakkan, played by Dileep, is an active member of the regional sports club ‘Apoorva’, and a lot of his time is devoted to organizing its tournaments and enjoying with its members. It will have situational humour and not slapstick comedy,” says Arun.
The film is also scripted by its director Biju, who debuted with the campus tale Dr Love. Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav, Chemban Vinod and Saju Navodaya also play pivotal roles.
Dileep, meanwhile, is currently in Switzerland shooting for Jeethu Joseph’s upcoming film, Life of Josutty, and will also be working soon in Shafi’s upcoming movie with Mamta Mohandas.
