Director Jis Joy hails ‘Pushpa 2’,says “Only Sukumar can do such films!”

As ‘Pushpa 2’ has hit the big screens, the audiences are pouring the Allu Arjun starrer with good reviews and now the Malayalam director Jis Joy has hailed the film and said that only Sukumar can do such wonders in cinema.

Jis Joy has dubbed for Allu Arjun’s voice in the Malayalam version of the film and according to News18, the ‘Thalavan’ director said that several sequences in the film that were doubtful on whether it will work well, received massive responses from the audiences. Jis Joy also said during the media interaction that the director Sukumar knows the pulse of the audiences and crafts movies accordingly.

Further showering praises for the director, Jis Joy said, “Majority of the sequences which were doubtful on whether it will work, received immense great response from the audiences. A director who knows the pulse of the audiences can only do such a thing. All the best to director Sukumar sir. The movie is treated in a very ‘Massy’ style.”
Expressing happiness on being part of ‘Pushpa 2’, Jis Joy said that the movie will not dissatisfy any audiences who love a ‘mass’ film.
Meanwhile, according to the Sacnilk website, ‘Pushpa 2’ has collected Rs 5 crores from Kerala box office on day 1 and the movie is expected to mint more numbers in the coming days.
