Jis Joy has dubbed for Allu Arjun’s voice in the Malayalam version of the film and according to News18, the ‘Thalavan’ director said that several sequences in the film that were doubtful on whether it will work well, received massive responses from the audiences. Jis Joy also said during the media interaction that the director Sukumar knows the pulse of the audiences and crafts movies accordingly.

Further showering praises for the director, Jis Joy said, “Majority of the sequences which were doubtful on whether it will work, received immense great response from the audiences. Meanwhile, according to the Sacnilk website, ‘Pushpa 2’ has collected Rs 5 crores from Kerala box office on day 1 and the movie is expected to mint more numbers in the coming days.
