Eeda being taken off theatres in Kannur?

Ajith Kumar's Eeda revolves around the political violence at Kannur. Meanwhile, the theme of the film hasn't gone down well with certain political parties. COngress leader PC Vishnunadh has made a statement that CPM and BJP leaders should watch the film together, as apparently, the film suggests the two parties being responsible for the violence in the area.
It is also being reported that Eeda is being taken off theatres in Kannur and that posters of the film are being torn off, allegedly by party workers. However, a theatre owner has denied all such claims.
Meanwhile, slain leader TP Chandrasekharan's wife KK Rema has praised the film, and congratulated the director for aptly depicting the families and dreams of many which are destroyed by political crimes.
