Fahadh-Nazriya, the new star couple in M-Town

Leaving no room for speculation, the parents of the duo made the announcement to the media and said that it was purely an arranged marriage. And that the wedding will be held only in August this year.
Fahadh’s father Fazil said that when he sounded the proposal to his son, he was ecstatic. “Nazriya is a homely girl. I know her since her childhood. When I told Fahadh about the proposal, he said, ‘She’s magic’.Nazriya was also very excited. However, we asked them to think carefully before taking the plunge. They took their own time and finally gave the nod,” says Fazil.
Nazriya’s father also said that they have known Fazil’s family for long. “We knew Pachikka (Fazil) and Fahadh since long. We were family friends even before Nazriya entered the film industry. We used to visit each other often,” he said.
As soon as the news broke, the online forums were abuzz with reactions ranging from heartaches to humorous digs! Nazriya’s enormous fan base, constituting mostly young men, went on an emotional overdrive, with many pointing out the more than 10 years age gap between the two.
Now that the marriage has been fixed, the next obvious question that concerns all Nazriya fans is, will she continue to act after marriage? “That’s up to Fahadh and Nazriya to decide. But she will complete all the projects she has committed before the wedding, including Blessy’s movie with Fahadh,” says Nazriya’s father.
Interestingly, the two are currently shooting for Anjali Menon’s movie L for Love, which will also see Nazriya paired opposite Fahadh!
