Lal Jose praises Ganapthi's directorial debut Onnu Chirikoo
We all know that the little Pauly from Pranchiyettan and the Saint, Ganapathi, who stole our heart with his smartness has now all grown up into a superbly talented actor. The Payyannur native who is now one of the promising young actors of Mollywood has directed a beautiful short film titled,Onnu Chirikoo. I have always wondered if those in new generation think of any of these things. Ganapathi really amazed me with his short film... All the best the newbie director."
Talking about what went behind the film, Ganapathy says that it was a sudden plan he had with his cousin Gowtham Babu. "We have been jobless for three months and when we thought of creating a showreel for Gowtham, I told him about creating a short film. We wanted to do something simple yet beautiful and came up with this,"he says. The film is shot in and around Payyanur which include picturesque places like Aduthila and Kanai.
Ganapathi and team did a lot of search to find the perfect cast for the lead roles Koran and Kumba. "This is all about people who find happiness even when there is nothing and we are getting positive responses,"says Ganapathi.
