Adil Ibrahim's first solo hero film 'Hello Dubaikkaran' reaches theaters and when the first half of the 141 minutes film is over, it remains a mixed bag.
The movie is the life of a simpleton named Prakashan, who dreams of becoming a Dubaaikkaran. For the 35-year-old, its no easy feat, owing to many personal and situational impediments. Will he, however, reach his dreamland? The second half should unviel it all.
Salim Kumar, as Thampanoor Thampi, Prakashan's brother-in-law, offers a comedy respite and so does Auto Keshu, Dharmajan's character of the protagonist's close friend.Mamukkoya plays the character of Hamsakoya, who is similar to Gafoor of Nadodikattu.
The film does have a few entertaining moments, but is largely mediocre - be it the comedy or the storyline. However, will the film take off in the second half with surprising twists or quality comedy? Watch this space.
