Honey Rose starrer pan-Indian film ‘Rachel’ goes on floors

Actress Honey Rose has begun shooting for her upcoming film 'Rachel', which is also her first pan-Indian project. The film had a puja ceremony in Pallavur, Kerala, to mark the start of production. Honey Rose expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity. She described her role in the film as a surprise for the audience and believes it will be a turning point in her career. 'Rachel' is directed by Anandini Bala and co-written by Rahul Manappatt and Abrid Shine. The film features a talented team of award-winning professionals in various departments.

Actress Honey Rose’s much awaited upcoming film ‘Rachel’ has started rolling. The film went on floors on Friday (Sep 15) with a puja ceremony in Pallavur, a picturesque village in Kerala’s Palakkad district. The actress was thrilled to kickstart the shoot of ‘Rachel’ which also happens to be her first pan-Indian film!

The actress stands at a pivotal juncture in her career as she embarks on a journey of ‘Rachel’, which promises a turning point. “RACHEL Begins here… Blessed to attend Pooja ceremony of Rachel, My first PAN Indian Project, yet another stepping stone in my career… I request the same support and prayers in this next level. Honey Rose is headlining ‘Rachel’, and speaking about her role in the film, she earlier told Kochi Times, “The role I play will come as a surprise to audiences. For me, it was fun and after Telugu film Veera Simha Reddy, this seemed the perfect role with which to make a return to Malayalam.”
She further added, “I have had some strong performance-oriented roles, in Monster, 'Kumbasaram', 'Trivandrum Lodge', but this movie, I think, is some rungs above these. Audiences will be experiencing this kind of a story and character for the first time. When I heard the story I felt I was the right person for the role.”

‘Rachel’ is directed by Anandini Bala and co-written by Rahul Manappatt and Abrid Shine. Interestingly, filmmaker Abrid Shine is also one of the co-producers of ‘Rachel.’ The film is based on Rahul Manappatt's story. The music is composed by Ankit Menon. ‘Rachel’ boasts a talented team of award-winning film personnels including MR Rajakrishnan, Sreesankar, and Chandru Selvaraj contributing their expertise in sound mixing, sound design, and cinematography respectively. M Bava is the production designer and Manoj is the editor.
