Ilayaraja is back in Mollywood

Music maestro Ilayaraja made a rare appearence in Kochi recently.
He was in the city for the muhurth of Rafeek Ravuther���s EMSum Penkuttiyum. The music director, who doesn���t make such public appearences was attending the muhurth of a Malayalam flick for the first time. He will be scoring the music for the movie and the recording will be in Budapest.The last time Mollywood saw the maestro was for Sathyan Anthikadu���s Snehaveedu.
He has even signed up to do the background score for Perarasu���s Son of Alexander, which is a sequel to yesteryear Mollywood hit, Samrajyam.
EMSum Penkuttiyum revolves around the relationship between a reporter and a Sri Lankan refuge. Sreenivasan and Narain are the central characters. Kaniha, who plays a nurse, has been paired opposite Sreenivasan.
