International Women's Day 2023: Revathy, Navya Nair, and others extend wishes on the special occasion

International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8 every year. And the theme for this year (2023) is "DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality". The day aims to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women all around the world.

Veteran actor-filmmaker Revathy Asha spoke about the woman who influenced her the most - her mother.“The woman who is the reason I am where I am… my mother, my guide, my mentor, my support, my pillar… my all!!! Mother’s Day means nothing to her… she is as always, making breakfast for my father and getting the house cleaned up. For her cleanliness, cooking for her family, being there like a rock is all she cares about. I wished my mother ‘Happy Women’s day ‘ and she replies, ‘you know I don’t believe in all this.’ I am blessed to be her daughter 🙏🏾.”
