Is Dulquer's next the first M-town film shot in Mexico?

Amal Neerad's upcoming movie with Dulquer Salmaan could break new grounds for Mollywood. Dulquer recently posted on his social media page that the team were filming in Mexico.
"Restarted shoot for Amalettan's next in beautiful Monterrey, Mexico ! The wonderful Mariachi band set the mood for us throughout the day ! Such kind people everywhere we went in Mexico. Really want to visit again," he posted.
The movie, which has debutante Karthika Murali as the lead actress, is touted to be the first Malayalam movie to be shot in Mexico.
