It’s a wrap for Sharafudheen starrer ‘1744 WA’

‘1744 WA’ aka ‘1744 White Alto’ is an upcoming movie directed by Senna Hegde. Recently the director took to his official Instagram handle to announce that the makers have wrapped up the shoot for the film.

The director shared a last scene from the movie via his Instagram handle and penned a note that read, “ Last day. Last scene. 18 days of fun under the unadulterated ‘Kanhangad’ sun.”

Actor Sharafudheen, who plays a cop in the crime comedy-drama film also shared a picture with the whole team of ‘1744 WA’ via his Instagram handle.Sharing the picture, the actor announced the shooting wrap-up of ‘1744 WA’.

Director Senna Hegde who was basking in the success of the comedy-drama film ‘Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam’ was first planning for a film with the young and talented actor Kunchacko Boban which was titled ‘Padmini’. But due to the busy shooting schedule of the actor, Senna Hegde planned for the shoot of ‘1744 WA’ in the meantime.

Previously in an exclusive interview, the director opened up on the film by saying that although the entire film is shot in Kanhangad in Kasargod, the story is set in an imaginary place in Kerala.

The film ‘1744 WA’ recently made news recently, as it was the first time in Malayalam cinema to form an internal complaints committee consisting of four members to address complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace.

The script of the upcoming film ‘1744 WA’ is penned down by Senna along with Sreeraj Raveendran and Arjun B. The editing section of the film will be handled by Harilal K Rajeev.
‘1744 WA’ will feature the actors Vincy Alyshious, Rajesh Madhavan, Navas Vallikkunnu, Arya Salim, Anand Manmadan, and Renji Kankol.
