‘Jack N Jill’ teaser: Manju Warrier starrer promises an action packed, sci-fi comedy

Mollywood actress Manju Warrier is aiming it a bit high with an action-packed, sci-fi comedy in teaming up with the renowned director Santosh Sivan for the upcoming film ‘

’. Recently the makers unveiled an intriguing teaser for the film that shares a few glimpses of what the Santosh Sivan directorial has to offer the audience.

The 35 seconds teaser opens with a dialogue that hints that the film will be dealing with sci-fi content. The dialogue goes like this, “XX Chromosomes were always superior to the XY Chromosomes. I mean women.” The teaser also introduces the late actor Nedumudi Venu who will be playing a pivotal role in the film. The teaser further progresses with hints on elements of investigation, action, and comedy.

Helmed by the renowned director Santosh Sivan, the script of the film is also penned down by the director himself. The editing section of the film will be managed by Renjith Touchriver and the ace music composers Jakes Bejoy, Ram Surender, and Gopi Sundar is in charge of the music department of ‘Jack N Jill’. Dance choreography of the film will be handled by Ullas Mohan, and Sreejith.

‘Jack N Jill’ also features the actors Kalidas Jayaram, Soubin Shahir, Aju Varghese, Indrans, Shaylee Krishen, Basil Joseph, among others. The expectation levels for ‘Jack N Jill’ among audiences are really high as Santosh Sivan never fails at delivering promising contents to the audience and the upcoming Manju Warrier starrer seems to be the ace director’s first shot at a sci-fi comedy.

Meanwhile, Santosh Sivan is currently working as the cinematographer for the maiden directorial venture of Mohanlal which is titled ‘Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure’. The film is scripted by ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ fame Jijo Punnoose and will have the actors Mohanlal, Guru Somasundaram, Paz Vega, Padmavati Rao, and Rafael Amargo in pivotal roles.
