There are also mixed reviews coming in for the movie as one wrote,”J.S.K (Janaki vs State of Kerala) Rape survivor vs State sounds powerful, but the film totally lacks impact. No depth, no freshness. Suresh Gopi feels force-fitted, dialogues are cringe, and the whole thing just drags. Not satisfied.” Another one wrote, “Like the films of #VivekAgnihotri and similar filmmakers relying on a hate driven propaganda in the national level, we have a Malayalam film made on similar lines.
#JSK is an outright horrendous take on a sensitive subject with no sincerity. Unpleasant dialogues that are out of context, forced and pretentious emotions ruin the plot. And we have a protagonist who resorts to character assassination in the name of verbal arguments. The makers never try to honour the essence of the plot, instead carries out direct attack on political rivals.”
What’s the verdict
