Jayaram and Miya to team up in Pattabhiraman

Director Kannan Thamarakkullam and Jayaram are all set to team for their fourth film together. The movie titled Pattabhiraman is set in Thiruvananthapuram and like their previous ventures, Achayans and Aadupuliyattam, is a multi-starrer too.On Jayaram’s character in the film, Kannan tells us, “He plays a government employee. The story starts with him buying a plot in the capital city and arriving there to settle down. His journey and struggles complete the film, which will also reveal some shocking truths about how contemporary politics also has a commercial side to it.”While the movie also delves into several serious topics of socio-political significance, all of it will be told through humour, says the director.Baiju Santosh also plays pivotal role in the film. Apart from Jayaram, the film also has several heroines. “Miya plays an interesting role that is the suspense of the film. Shamna Kasim, Parvathy Nambiar and Sheelu Abraham also have very important roles in the movie,” he says, adding that Ramesh Pisharody and Dharmajan Bolgatty will also be essaying important characters.The movie will begin shooting this month with Thiruvananthapuram being the main location and a few scenes expected to be canned in Munnar and Tirunelveli.
