The charming actor who began his career in cinema with the 1988 Padmarajan film ‘Aparan’ has become a household name for movie lovers and in his career spanning 33 years, he was also fortunate enough to be part of some of the evergreen songs crafted in Malayalam cinema. Jayaram has romanced superstar Nayanthara in the 2003 film ‘Manasinakkare’. The movie also marks the debut movie of Nayanthara. The soulful lyrics were crafted by Gireesh Puthanchery and the legendary Ilayaraja has composed the song. K J Yesudas has sung the song.

Kathiripoo
Before getting into any arguments, let’s confess that most of them might have mostly heard the song ‘Pinneyum Pinneyum’ from the 1997 film ‘Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu’. Yes, that too is a lovely song, but the ‘Kathiripoo’ song does have a charm on its own. The lovely song has portrayed the essence of Meenakshi’s love and longing for her man. Gireesh Puthanchery has done the lyrics and Vidyasagar has composed the music. K J Yesudas and KS Chithra have crooned the lovely duet.
